Halloween Parade - Reminders

Posted Date: 10/30/25 (3:00 PM)

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope and trust that that you and your families are well and that the school year has gotten off to a smooth start for you.  We greatly appreciate you working with us as we solidify rituals and routines in ensuring student safety here at Randolphville.

We are pleased to announce that we are planning to have our Halloween costume parade this year, scheduled for Friday, October 31st. Please see below for details and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, etc.

  1. Weather permitting, we will have outdoor parades as follows:
  1. 9:55-10:25: 2nd & 3rd Grades & AT Classes
  2. 10:35-11:05: kindergarten & 1st Grade
  3. The parade route will begin with students exiting the building at the kindergarten entrance, walking along the path, and re-entering the building after the Access Rd. entrance.  Parents/Guardians, we ask that you kindly remain distanced along the parade route, and that you stay to outside of the path so that the students have unabated movement and a clear path.
  1. In that the parades are taking place in the morning, we ask that students are sent to school in their costumes.  We recommend comfortable costumes, and request no costume props.  For security and safety, students must take off any masks when they are on the bus and during the school day other than the parade.
  2. In addition to the parade, students will have in-class Halloween activities led by their classroom teacher. Unfortunately, families will not be able to attend the indoor celebrations, and we are requesting that parents only send in store bought, sealed food or other items labeled with your student’s name to be shared with the class.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 31st!
With thanks and appreciation,
Dr. Slivko
