A Note from Mrs. Elil

Iam looking forward to meeting our new students as we begin school on Tuesday, September 4. Listed below are the items that your child needs to bring to school every day.

  • a small, healthy snack, such as fruit, vegetable, crackers, or a cheese stick, and a juice or water that can be eaten in 10 minutes. Please do not send any items with nuts. We have many students in our class who are allergic to nuts. Also please remind your children that snacks are not to be shared during snack time.
  • a backpack, labeled with your child's name, that is large enough to hold a folder
  • Lunch can be purchased at school and lunch menus will be sent home every month and will be available online too.
  • The blue Randolphville folder, which will be given out on the first day of school. Please be sure to check for any papers that have been sent home each day. Any money or notes to me should always be put inthis folder, since we go through them each day.

Any supplies that are brought in will be shared in the classroom.

This month we will be getting to know each other, learning class rules and reading many books, both fiction and non-fiction. We will learn about our school and community and how to show kindness, respect each other and work as a team. Mrs. Martino and I are thrilled to be spending part of our day with your children and getting to know them and we hope they adjust well to Kindergarten.

I hope to meet all of you at Back to School Night on Tuesday Sep 10, where a lot of important information will be shared!
